Sessions

Aine Zion

A core component of the music we listen to day to day is lyrics, a series of words brought together to form some of the most memorable sentences to ever come out of someones mouth. For this months edition of Sessions we invited two artists down to size? Manchester who’s complementary styles worked hand in hand.

Saul Williams

The second performer for our latest Manchester edition of size? sessions was New York Native Saul Williams, a multi-faceted poet and rapper.

London Posse

The late 80’s was a vibrant time for music, with a range of different genres making their way overseas and into the hearts and minds of many in the UK. Finding themselves brought together in 1986 by mutual friend, the late human beatboxer Sipho, Rodney P (known as Rodie Rok at the time), Bionic and Billy Biznizz would eventually go on to form the seminal UK outfit, London Posse.

Big Narstie

Throwing it back to the beginning of May, we invited Big Narstie down to size? Brixton to run through a few tracks for size? sessions, shortly before he jetted off down the country to give a talk at Oxford University that same evening.

Bill Ryder Jones

Back in May some of you lucky northerners may have been fortunate enough to have been able to come through and take a look at our adidas Originals Archive exhibition at Granada Studios, a showcase of our extensive work together with the brand for the last 8 years. The space brought together limited edition releases from our exclusive Archive collections, which bring back some of your favourite silhouettes from over the years, both in original colourways and with new rendition

Prez T + CASisDead

The second part of our Air Max Day sessions saw veterans President T and CASisDead take the mic, both delivering excellent sets that showed their versatility as MC’s and how they each approach a track. Both have been involved within the scene since the mid 2000’s in some form or another, and been busy in recent times releasing more and more new music to a new crowd that may not have heard them the first time around.
